Jesus ChristHappy Friday.  I’m in Chicago today, and it’s clear and crisp and finally looking like November’s supposed to look.  Thanks for hanging around, September.  We had some good times.

Anyway, reader, have you voted for your favorite charity yet?  Since we’ve only had 34 votes in total, I’m betting not.   Voting is free, man.  No obligation to give just because you voted.  In fact, I don’t even have the architecture set up to accept donations yet.  So no worries there.  And if you’ve voted already, thank you, but please feel free to vote again.  Jesus would want you to.  Besides, there’s no limit to the number of times you can vote

Did you vote?  Are you annoyed yet?  Did you find the hidden pic in that mess of links? Sweet.

Okay, then. Moving on.  Since it’s Friday, I’m feeling lazy.  So I’m just gonna let this week’s excerpts carry the time-suck load.  Wait.  That sounded gross.  And it’s right there beneath a picture of Jesus…

Are we cool, Jesus? Yeah, we’re cool.

Anyway, so.  I’ve got a couple of new docs for your perusal today.  Well, more like one new doc and one revised one.  The new doc is what I’m calling “Spotlight: Battle of Pittsburgh” because I’m mostly lame.  In any case, it’s a broad but reasonably detailed look at one of the primary storylines of What We’ve Got.  As you know by now (assuming you’ve been reading since Day One), the plot sees Pittsburgh as a total mess.  Guns everywhere.  Rednecks shooting at Furries.  Furries shooting at Rednecks.  Town in peril, reader.  Town in peril.  Anyway, this document will provide you with an in-depth look as to how all that nasty business came to pass.

The second doc, you’ve maybe seen before — at least, you’ve maybe seen some form of it.  It’s Chapter 1 of What We’ve Got, only now tightened (thoroughly) and revised (slightly).  If you’ve read it before, you might be interested to see the changes.  If you haven’t, I invite you to dive right in to the psyche of Walter “Dub” Schenley.  Either way, I’d be stoked if you checked it out.  And so would Jesus.
