I know I said I would only post to this little blog once more (and I’m nearing the finish on that final 100-page excerpt, I promise), but there’ve been some heavy recent events I figured you might want to know about. Adama’s going under the knife today. He hasn’t been eating for the past 48 hours or so. And he’s got this strange and sudden growth in the area where his intestines come to coil. The vets think it’s either a hernia or a tumor. Either way, he’s huffing anesthetic even as I type this.

I shouldn’t worry, I know. These vets do these surgeries every day. But I’ll still be keeping my fingers crossed all morning — and I hope you will too, reader. I’ll update you again later with the outcome.
